All Hi-SPAN standard sections are manufactured from prime bright spangle galvanized slit coil with a G275 coating although higher coatings can be obtained if required. G450, G600 and Magnelis coating material is available but does have to be ordered direct from the mill on a main rolling. This is usually on a 14-16 week lead time and is slightly more expensive than our normal coating weight of G275.
The suppliers of our coils have provided us with the following table of performance as guidance to the life to first maintenace for different coating weights.
