All Hi-SPAN standard sections are manufactured from prime bright spangle galvanized slit coil supplied to Hi Span in accordance with BS EN 10346:2009 and S450GD + Z275 N-A-C giving a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 450 N/mm². Cold rolled steel sections are supplied to client in accordance with BS EN 10162:2003.

Some of the Hi-SPAN accessories may be manuafctured from different grade materials or finished in a different manner. For further information on specific accessories then please contact our Technical Department.

All items are manufactured in accordance with Hi Span Limited’s Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2008 and to the Factory Production Control requirements of BS EN 1090-1:2009 and BS EN 1090-2: 2008. All products are CE marked and may be incorporated in to structures determined by BS EN 1909-2:2008 as being Execution Class 1, 2, 3 or 4. All production activities are described in detailed work instructions and safe systems of work.
